Paul Oliveira
The Founder and President of Avalon Building Systems, Paul has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Civil Engineering, he has extensive knowledge of construction practices ranging from small residential houses to large commercial projects. In 2001, frustrated by the inefficiencies of traditional stick building, Paul decided to learn more about modular building by constructing one of his own. He was so impressed by the speed of the construction, the quality of the product and the ease with which the house was completed that he decided then and there to become the very best modular builder in all of New England.



Richard Pereira
Richard is the Sr. Construction Manager at Avalon. Ensuring the highest of quality throughout the design and building process, Richard’s desk is often where “the buck stops”. Growing up in a family with ties to the Heating and Plumbing business, Richard decided early on that he preferred the Big Picture, and we’re glad he did. With more than 18 years of residential and commercial construction experience, he is involved in every aspect of modular building. Richard can often be found orchestrating the delivery and the” set” of our homes.
